The Sweetest Mountain Proposal - It all began on May 15, 2025 when S reached out to see if I would be in Colorado the following month to shoot a proposal. I screamed at the inquiry! I had asked A and S to model for me the prior year to build my portfolio and it is one of my favorite shoots to date.

He asked if I would reach out to A and see if she would be interested in modeling for me. We wanted to make it seem like this was all her idea so she would be caught off guard!

S really wanted to shoot in the mountains up in Crested Butte. It was a special place to them and had her absolute favorite flowers- lupines. I reached out to A and explained I really wanted to do a shoot in the mountains- somewhere with lots of flowers.

She suggested Crested Butte, just as S and I had planned. The photoshoot was planned!

I went up early to scout the perfect place for the bended knee and once I found it I planned out how the session would go.

We met for dinner at the best pizza joint and then headed up to the first location. As she asked what to wear- I told her maybe wear your favorite second since the lighting will be better wink wink and wear what you are wearing now for the first spot.

Once we wrapped up in the first location we headed to the spot! We hiked a little trail and when the moment and scene were perfect - I signaled S.

The proposal was absolutely perfect and I was so honored to capture this moment for them!
